How can I use inflight internet?
Registering for Gogo is fast and easy. Once you create an account you can easily purchase a session on your next Gogo-equipped flight.
Once the crew has announced you have reached 10,000 feet, you may connect your device to Gogo Inflight Internet. Any other radio transmission or electronic voice communication is prohibited. Internet services automatically turn on upon reaching 10,000 feet during takeoff and turn off when reaching 10,000 feet during landing.
The minimum requirements to access Gogo are a laptop with 802.11 a/b/g wireless capability (Wi-Fi) and a Gogo-supported web browser.
Supported laptop browsers include:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 6, 7 and 8 (Windows® XP or Vista™)
- Mozilla® Firefox®
- Safari™ on Mac OS® X
Gogo Inflight Internet works with virtually any Wi-Fi enabled device that runs Android®, Apple®, Windows® and Blackberry® platforms. Supported browsers include: Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile (version 8 or above) and Mozilla Firefox. The service works just like most wireless mobile broadband services on the ground.
