Airport Alert: AirTran Airways has discontinued scheduled passenger service at Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport effective November 21, 2011.
Between November 21, 2011 and February 12, 2012 Customers can access Atlanta via Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) or Birmingham on Southwest Airlines out of Dallas Love Field Airport.
At that time, Southwest Airlines will offer 128 daily nonstop departures from Dallas Love Field to 15 cities: Albuquerque, Amarillo, Austin, Birmingham, El Paso, Houston (Hobby), Kansas City, Little Rock, Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, San Antonio and Tulsa with additional direct or connecting service to 57 cities, including Orlando and Atlanta beginning February 12, 2012.
