Magic 1 Takes Flight

Colts 1 Takes to the Skies

Nov. 10, 2009 – AirTran and Indianapolis Colts unveil "Colts 1." To celebrate the unveiling of this aircraft and to benefit the community, the team mascot, Blue, and the Colts cheerleaders demonstrated their strength, literally, by pulling the 120,000 pound aircraft more than 20 feet for charity.

Oct. 13, 2009 – AirTran Airways and the Atlanta Falcons Launch "Falcons 1" a one-of-a-kind, custom-painted Boeing 717 in Falcons colors. Falcons 1 marks the first time in the company’s history that an aircraft has been co-branded from nose to tail.

Malkoff set the Guinness World Record for most flight segments in a 30-day period, taking more than 130 flights, while keeping in touch with friends, fans and family using AirTran's Gogo® Inflight Internet.
