AirTran Airways' 717-200 21st Century Flight Deck
The 717's two-crew flight deck brings together proven state-of-the-art avionics. It is equipped with a series of six, large liquid crystal displays for flight control and engine monitoring systems and utilizes Honeywell VIA 2000 computer systems.
AirTran Airways' 717-200 Cabin
AirTran Airways' 717s feature all-new spacious interiors and accommodate 117 passengers in a mixed-class arrangement with 12 seats in Business Class and 105 in coach. Some of the state-of-the-art amenities include 18 percent more overhead storage space (same storage capacity per person as Boeing's 747 aircraft), back-lit hand rails along the overhead bins for easier access, 100 percent fresh air, and three modern lavatories with baby-changing stations.
